A stainless steel storage cabinet without a backsplash has a flat top that works from every side, so it fits island layouts, centre lines and spots between equipment. Babak Food Equipment offers Thorinox storage cabinets without backsplash for restaurants, cafés, bakeries, caterers and institutional kitchens across Vancouver and British Columbia. They provide a prep surface on top and enclosed storage below.
What to look for in a storage cabinet without backsplash

Placement: flat-top cabinets suit islands and spaces where staff work from both sides; choose a backsplash model against a wall.
Size: measure length, depth and height, and leave clearance for doors to open.
Doors and shelves: check door style and whether the interior shelf is adjustable.
Stainless grade: type 304 resists corrosion near water; type 430 is common for dry areas.

When should I choose a cabinet without a backsplash?
Choose one when the cabinet stands in an island, lines up with other equipment, or when you need to work from both sides.
Can storage cabinets be joined together?
Flat-top cabinets are often placed side by side to form a longer run. Check heights and leave room for cleaning between units.
