Description
The Atosa PCG18-LP is a double-tank gas pasta cooker set up for propane. Two 9-gallon (35 L) stainless steel tanks, each with its own 46,000 BTU/h burner and control, give high-volume kitchens without natural gas the ability to cook two pasta types or batches at once in a 31-1/2″ wide body, with a standard basket set for separate orders. A high-limit safety shut-off adds protection.
Key features
- Two 9-gallon (35 L) tanks – cook two pasta types or batches at once.
- 46,000 BTU/h burners, one per tank – 92,000 BTU/h in total with manual knobs for adjustable flame level.
- SUS316 stainless steel tank – deep-drawn, sandblasted and electropolished, with the tank welded to the top and an 8″ tank depth.
- High-limit safety shut-off and piezoelectric ignition – a safeguard if the tank overheats, and quick lighting.
- 1″ NPT drain valve – empties the tank; water is filled manually through the inlet pipe and valve.
- Standard basket configuration – 1/3 baskets plus left and right 1/6 baskets, so separate orders cook side by side.
- Stainless steel build on 4″–6″ adjustable legs, ETL certified – level it on uneven floors.
How the PCG18-LP fits your kitchen
A pasta cooker suits restaurants, cafés and buffets that cook pasta to order. The PCG18-LP has two 9-gallon tanks fed by propane (LP) (10″ w.c.). Plan for a 3/4″ NPT male gas inlet, a 3/4″ NPT male water inlet and a 1″ NPT drain outlet, a level non-combustible floor, and a commercial ventilation hood. Keep 6″ to combustible construction at the sides and rear. Never run it with an empty tank: water must cover the heat tubes.
Other sizes in this series

FAQ
What does the PCG18-LP need to install?
It needs propane (LP) at 10″ w.c. through a 3/4″ NPT male inlet, plus a 3/4″ NPT water inlet and 1″ NPT drain outlet. Use a licensed technician, leave 6″ to combustibles at the sides and rear, and install under a hood.
How do I clean the PCG18-LP?
Turn off the control valves and let the cooker cool. Drain the tank only once the water has cooled, then clean it daily with mild detergent and hot water. Avoid abrasive pads, wire brushes and corrosive cleaners.
Where can I find the PCG18-LP spec sheet?
The official Atosa spec sheet and manual are in the download section below. They cover dimensions, BTU ratings, gas and water connections and basket configuration, so you can check the details before you order.
Can the PCG18-LP run on natural gas?
No. The PCG18-LP is set up for propane at 10″ w.c. with a #47 nozzle. The natural gas version, the PCG18-NG, runs at 4″ w.c. with a #33 nozzle. Never connect a unit to a gas type other than the one on its rating plate.
